For our Multiplication and Division of Decimals Unit, students are expected to:

Here is the whole unit for multiplying and dividing decimals. Work through lesson 1 and 2 (this should be mostly a review). PLEASE DON'T DO EVERY QUESTION. Once your child is feeling comfortable with the content, move on to the word problems.

Watch the following Bill Nye Video and answer the following questions while watching. Activity:
Phases of the Moon:
Explore the phases of the moon. Here is a video in french to explain the phases of the moon. Students can then fill in the following worksheets. For Fiche 14- Reference for students
Fiche 15- When watching video, students should fill in the moons and label with the correct phase of the moon. Fiche 16A- Cut, label and place the phases of the moon in the correct order starting from a New Moon (Nouvelle Lune). SPACE EXPLORATION ARTICLE
Some students may have started this article (space exploration) last Thursday but can continue working on it in english or french. ** Ideally students should be doing these articles in french, however I recognize that families may not speak french at home and have included the english version as well.** |
ENRICHEMENT
